What you’ll need:
- 1 cup baking soda
- 1/2 cup citric acid
- 1/2 cup corn flour
- 1/2 cup fine salt
- 2 1/2 tbsp coconut oil (melted)
- 2 tbsp water
- Food coloring
- Yowie Surprise-Inside capsules (plastic eggs) used for bath bomb molds
- Your favorite Yowie collectibles
Instructions:
Step 1. Mix the baking soda, citric acid, corn flour and salt together in a mixing bowl.
Step 2. Using a spoon break up any chunks. Then whisk together.
Step 3. Mix the oil and water together and slowly add it to the dry ingredients while mixing with a whisk. Ensure you add the wet ingredients gradually so too much fizz isn’t caused.
Step 4. The mixture should resemble wet sand. Add a small amount of water if the mixture still seems too dry.
Step 5. To make multi-colored or different colored bath bombs, divide the mixture up into separate bowls. Add a few drops of food coloring to each bowl and mix well.
Step 6. Overfill one side of the Yowie Surprise-Inside plastic egg with the mixture.
Step 7. Add some mixture to the other side of the bath bomb mold, and then press a Yowie collectible into the mold and fill with more of the mixture. You want both sides of the mold to be full.
Step 8. Firmly press the 2 sides of the mold together.
Step 9. Leave the bath bomb to sit for a few minutes and then give the mold a tap and remove it carefully from the egg. If it breaks apart, add back into the egg and try again.
Step 10. Leave the bath bomb to dry overnight.
Step 11. Now enjoy your bath bomb by dropping it into warm water and watch it fizz to reveal a surprise toy!
